For the other battery technologies - lithium-ion/sodium-ion, metal hydrides, the invention may be applied with the results compatible with those obtained in lead-acid batteries. Furthermore, the super capacitive properties allows high rates of charge and discharge, to increase the specific capacity without significantly compromising the lifetime an making possible the use of aqueous electrolytes.
